Widow’s mite coin set in silver pendant. Size of pendant, 15mm / 0.59 mm diameter. The coin in this pendant is a bronze coin which has been excavated in this region and dates back to the time of Jesus. When Jesus was in the temple and the religious were putting their donations within sight of everyone into the collection boxes, the widow gave all that she had which was very little but Jesus said that she gave more because she gave out of her EVERYTHING than them giving out of their ABUNDANCE.
